Slack is the most god-awful platform ever, it treats user's words with utmost disrespect; surrounding them with noise, obnoxious UI, bells and whistles, uncollapsible clutter, confusing navigation, etc. — why does a thread open as a side panel? Why can't I reply to a reply? Manmade horrors beyond comprehension.
Words are the most important thing. Slack makes me want to return to phone calls. Implant your words directly into my brain, I don't want to see Slack's miserable user interface and clunky layouts. Imagine reading a novel on a bunch of scattered sticky notes. That's how it feels.
That's what WeWrite is trying to solve. Words deserve a beautiful place to live. Like a book, but online, with lively social feedback mechanisms.
Abolish Slack.
One of our Use Cases is Company wiki which aims to be actually better than Slack
Countries should ban Slack as a matter of national security
One of my old bosses said "slack is so engaging" ... well it's because people's salaries are tied to it lol
