Alfred: how are we determining whether someone makes 'good edits'? is it user approvals or is it something that WeWrite team decides? (is it similar to the blue tick on Twitter?)
Jamie: Good edits are determined by the owner of a page. Owners are either users or groups. Owners see a list of inbound edits and can approve or reject them. If someone repeatedly sends bad edits, they could be blocked from submitting future edits. If someone repeatedly sends good edits, they could be added to the group, which allows them to edit pages without needing to go through moderation.
Alfred: if you follow someone, does it automatically show all their different 'groups'?
Jamie: On a user's page, we'll show whichever groups and pages are public to the viewer. A user can hide pages and groups from their page.
Alfred: I'd love to chat more about the role of version history
Alfred: my fear is that with the rise of right-wing governments around the world, there will be conspiracy-theory led circles that might share harmful messages towards specific groups of people
