As opposed to Hot media which hypnotizes the viewer with Slop
Coined in Marshall McLuhan's book Understanding Media
What’s interesting about talk shows and vlogs and whatever is that one can deliver cool media (words) in a hot media package (flashy, cool sets, beautiful scenery, cutaways to B roll etc)
