movies are helpful to extrapolate the social and cultural trends of society and culture and expand on what visions of these may look like:
there are multiple visions of the future; whether it be of artificial intelligence, scientific or technological, or the degradation of human culture and systems (idiocracy 2005) This is what social media and pop culture can turn man into. (geez shocking I know)
mostly are they apocalyptic and eerie in a sense of thinking
yet we continue to proceed or progress towards the same path of destruction unless there are actual coalitions, and organizations to align people in a manner of cooperation and harmony.
imagery may be the best form of communication until something better comes along; perhaps one that makes people feel other previous lives' stories and learn from tales of cautionary times
another thought: does negativity turn people towards action? or keep people miserable and complacent?
