Jobs won't be fully automated until the incentives are properly aligned. For example, if workers could get more free time or money from them automating their own jobs, they'd do it. For now, automation threatens their livelihoods. The human worker's inefficiency is their own job security. This is a misalignment of incentives.
Here are some ways to align the incentives so we can automate all jobs.
Automate your boss out of their job
Another option: Achieve state power and administer the economy on behalf of We The People rather than the oligarchical monied interests
But jamie, isn't mass unemployment bad?
Yeah, an economic system which takes technological abundance and converts it to poverty and homelessness is indeed bad.
Perhaps we need a system which takes abundance and converts it to leisure and human flourishing.
Perhaps the robots should result in the unleashing of prosperity for all.
Just a thought.
if we had a Diagram of the whole economy then we could swap each human labor-node out with AI or machines. Basically the diagram would go from all-red or mostly-red (human labor) and would be flipped to green (automated labor)

The Administration of Things will prevail at this time
Could use Scientific Management to achieve this
