The Bolshevik Revolution was kinda based on conspiracies within the cities, whereas the Chinese Revolution was more about running around in the countryside and then taking the cities last. The future American scenario will probably look more like the Chinese situation; Max Max, Walking Dead, that sort of thing. Can't really expect cityfolk to pony up and get anything done. Maybe. Who knows.
Especially since the internet kinda changes things; now the countryside has broadcast towers, now the cities are full of remote workers, there's this kind of normalization of all geographical regions due to technology
Hopefully people start doing Community Prepping rather than just normal individualistic prepping
