Marxism-Leninism is an index of historical praxis

Marxism-Leninism is itself a revolutionary dynasty

It has political authority, it is carried forth by successive leaders, it has traditions

Sometimes in monarchies people falsely claim lineage which are not their own so that they can make a bid for power

Resurrection of essence of history

Revolutionary succession is the development of "one thing" across time, one history

The world spirit as Hegel calls it, this "one thing"

In materialism there's not much of a correlate to this world spirit except perhaps "Humanity"

Revolutionary Dynasty is intended to have ontological implications

To see each successive revolution as part of a "bloodline" of increasing liberty (not literally a bloodline)

The fire of revolution — first in production, then in relations of production

This stands in contradiction to anarchism and trotskyism or other pseudo-revolutionary lines of thought

Each new era is a culmination of all past eras

Each new plateau of thought stands atop thousands of others — I still need to read Thousand Plateaus

Modernity is accelerated to such a point such that modern political action is no longer possible

The dead of the past weighs on the living like a nightmare

The proletarian revolution happened in 1917

Legitimation comes from tradition

All revolutions after 1917 obey the tradition of the Bolsheviks, even the French Revolution too

Marx wasn't saying cast off all tradition

Marx was critiquing the pageantry and false respect of the form of tradition

A real connection to the tradition of revolution discerns its essence in novel forms based on new conditions

Revolutionary dynasty is a succession of evermore perfect unions

Even failures of revolutionary movements are part of the dynasty, they offer lessons to be learned from

The succession of history itself takes the form of revolution

The dichotomy between revolution and tradition is false
