As chapter executive of NY these foundational readings helped me in a number of ways for managing my team, navigating through various situations, and understanding the unfolding dynamics of our world in general. I will focus primarily on our work with the drayage truckers operating at the Port of NY & NJ. These truckers are bonafide blue collar workers, most of them boomers who grew up during the Cold War, all of them more or less led by anticommunist bias to no fault of their own.

If I was a "communist" operating under the purity fetish I would have wholly dismissed these drivers as nothing more than reactionaries for no other reason than their superficial dispositions or opinions, but with the fundamental understanding that a combination of reality and superstructural institutions shape consciousness, we are able to look past the biases of the truckers and communicate with them in the realm of their class interests -- interests which exist initially as intuitive knowledge that we endeavor to raise into genuine class self-consciousness. By speaking to this intuitive knowledge and articulating the reality faced by the truckers back onto them, every contact we've made thus far has become highly resonate with our messaging and propaganda without needing to be Communists themselves.

Many of us habitually go onto Twitter spaces with the truckers which allows us that opportunity to talk with them directly about the logic of our modern world which is revealed to us through Marxism. These workers who come into the conversation as devout anticommunists leave the space almost intellectually enlightened and spiritually enflamed when they learn that the ruling class is organized against their own interests, that the economy is structured in such a way to exploit the value they generate through their labor, that the financialization of the economy on one hand dealt great damage to the American working class but on the other hand put tremendous leverage power in the hands of the truckers, and ultimately helps to put them on the ideological road to identify themselves with their class rather than their own individual selves.

Marxism Leninism provides us the fire to light the fuse in people's minds and making their spirits explode like dynamite. The challenges to unify workers together remain, but through continued study and practice we'll both relearn what was common knowledge to our ideological ancestors in the 1920s-1940s CPUSA and also chart the uncharted courses ourselves to uncover new methods befitting a Communist Party in the 21st century.

The future belongs to the working class!
