“Less Yappin’, More Doin’: A Dialectical Rant Against All Talk, No Hammer”

By

Why Reading Marx Doesn’t Build a Factory?

Nobody has ever solved poverty by tweeting about it.

Nobody has ever overthrown capitalism by writing a 12-paragraph caption on Instagram under a selfie in a Che Guevara shirt.

And no, reading Capital three times doesn’t count as praxis if you’re still ordering Uber Eats on your iPhone 16 while explaining “the contradictions of late-stage capitalism” to your cat.

We live in an age where action is almost completely replaced by… vibes. Talking has become the new doing. And it sucks. Because talking without action is just procrastination with better PR.

Everyone’s got a take. Everyone’s got a theory. Everyone’s "raising awareness”

Marxism-Leninism isn’t just a philosophy - it’s a call to do stuff. It’s very concrete, material, sweaty, uncomfortable work.

Dialectical materialism isn’t your excuse to argue in comment sections. It’s a method for analyzing real-world conditions so you can change them. Yes! With your hands! With collective labor! Scary, I know.

Reading Marx without practicing dialectical materialism is like reading a cookbook while starving to death and shouting “BUT I UNDERSTAND THE DIALECTICS OF FLAVOR!”

Congratulations. You’re hungry. And annoying.

Imagine Lenin sitting in a café, sipping an overpriced oat milk latte, posting long threads about the theoretical contradictions of imperialism, and never bothering to, oh I don’t know—build a revolutionary vanguard.

Revolution isn’t armchair theater. Lenin didn’t sit around waiting for someone else to fix things. He didn’t post hot takes; he mobilized, strategized, and yes - acted.

The Bolsheviks didn’t overthrow the Provisional Government by “having an open dialogue.” They didn’t show up to the Winter Palace with book clubs and vibes. They showed up with a plan and a purpose. And, you know… guns.

Intellectualism Without Action is Just… Capitalist

This is going to hurt some feelings, but here we go: Intellectualism for its own sake is bourgeois. It’s navel-gazing. It’s academic cosplay. The moment you divorce theory from practice, you’ve turned it into a hobby - like stamp collecting, but somehow more pretentious.

If your Marxism doesn’t involve organizing labor, feeding people, housing the unhoused, or building dual power structures, you’re not a revolutionary - you’re just really good at quoting Gramsci.

Revolution Has Calluses

If you really want to change people’s lives, shut up and pick up a tool. Build something. Feed someone. Organize your coworkers. Clean up a park. Make your dialectics dialecti-doing. Because material conditions don’t change through moral outrage. They change through labor. Through structure. Through logistics, discipline, sweat, and commitment.

Start small. Do something useful. Then do more. Read theory, yes - but use it like a wrench, not a mirror.

Because at the end of the day, the ruling class isn’t scared of how well you can explain surplus value at a party.

They’re scared of you organizing your workplace.

They’re scared of you feeding your neighbors.

They’re scared of you doing.

So get out there.

And do.
