The elites are scared of dissidents, even moderate ones, and are rolling out Internet IDs.
We Communists have always said: They will take away free speech when it poses a serious threat.
Operation Mockingbird kept speech under control, but social media has changed that.
As Alex Jones says, Internet IDs are not completely without merit. I support a ban on porn, and a ban on social media and smartphones for minors. Age verification requires IDs or some kind of state surveillance.
The real problem is censorship. As long as the elites control social media, they will try to censor their enemies.
Communists have always said, WE THE PEOPLE need to seize power. The corporations colluding with the govt will always censor us.
If the people were truly in power, we would have much freer speech. We would suppress Blackrock/Soros-funded NGOs. But every American would be free.
The 99% do not have any say in this system. To cover up this fact, they call it a “democracy.” We all know corporations and elites are running it. Anyone who challenges them will face the deep state: CIA attacks, first verbal, using propaganda and cancel culture; then physical.
To all Communists, and dissidents:
We must prepare for darker days when no dissent is allowed online. Build networks irl.
