Maybe you don't always NEED someone for this, you just need yourself and to be fine with only yourself.
I wish I knew this much back in high school when I strived too much to be liked only to realize that most of them never actually cared for me, they just felt sorry for me.
Love and acceptance should come from self first because people have fleeting interests.
