Many are saying this

Logo and Chris Morlock have recent tweets that basically say casino socialism

Here is Morlock’s tweet from 03.21.35:

Normies Discovering the Insanity of Finance Capital- HOLY SHIT IT'S TOTALLY DESTRUCTIVE NONSENSE THAT NEVER ENDS

"Wait a second, how the fuck is it possible it works like this!!??!"

Love it when regular people figure out the basics of finance capital oligarchy. Because they’re seeing their local Joann’s shut down, their Party City shuttered, Big Lots gone, and asking: wait—wasn’t that place doing fine? And that’s exactly the point. Finance doesn’t need a business to be failing. It needs it to be able to extract UNEARED income. It needs assets for artificial price inflation and rents, not production or labor. It needs collateral. It needs a pulse—just long enough to drain as they covert it into chips (the dollar) and run to the Casino (the Federal Reserve).

This is what I call the "rentier nexus". It’s what happens when financial oligarchs—who produce nothing, risk nothing, and know nothing about running a business—take over everything. Their game is simple: buy it, debt it, gut it, flip it. It’s all spreadsheets and leverage, baby. You were never the customer. You were the meat. The store? Just a wrapper for cash flow. The workers? Future severance liabilities. The brand? Something to pawn. The point isn’t to operate—it’s to inflate, extract, and walk. Their goal is to make money from nothing, for nothing.

People say, “How can a healthy, profitable business be bankrupt?” Lady, that’s the entire design. That question is the Rosetta Stone of our whole goddamn economic order. In a rentier economy, being productive, useful, even beloved—means nothing. The only thing that matters is how much fake money someone can squeeze out of your future, until it collapses. And when it does, they don’t care. They already got paid. In fact they created a wealth machine from the fake money the government printed for them to do it!

Marx called this fictitious capital. It’s the abstraction of value into financial claims that have no anchor in real production. You're not investing in growth—you're speculating on ownership claims of future revenue, which itself is dependent on cannibalizing the company’s own ability to function. It’s leverage on leverage. When the bottom falls out, the financial class doesn’t get punished—they get rescued. That’s the endgame. That’s the real racket- derived economy with so much leverage it consolidates wealth to the HNWI class without restrictions of the "real economy."

These people build to fail. And when it does, they hold the entire economy ransom. They make their money on the way down. The Fed is the backstop. The Treasury is the insurer. The entire system is designed so that when the looting finally tanks the company, they hold the economy hostage and say, “bail us out or it all goes down.” And guess what? It works. Every time. They fail upwards, get richer, consolidate more, and the rest of us eat austerity and closed signs.

It’s neo-feudalism, but worse. At least a feudal lord had to protect his peasants or he lost the harvest. These guys don’t even want production. They want yield. Rent. A return on paper. They don’t care what’s produced, who suffers, or what dies—only what can be abstracted, securitized, and dumped before the next quarterly call. They are immune to collapse because they own collapse. They profit from it. They depend on it.

And the “experts”? Their job is to mystify this whole process—make it sound like some natural market correction or “mismanagement.” But mismanagement is the management. It’s not a bug—it’s the business model. If people really knew how this worked, they'd burn every MBA program to the ground tomorrow.

This isn’t capitalism anymore. It’s racketeering with a legal team to produce asset price inflation. And unless we stop mistaking these parasites for innovators and start seeing them for what they are—arsonists with a printing press—we’ll be back here again. And again. And again.

Next step is making ALL PRODUCTION ILLEGAL outside of this satanic system, it's already 90% of the way there.

Here’s a Logo thread from 09.18.24

The mass proliferation of Legalized Gambling is perhaps the most telling thing about the absolute collapse of Western "Civilization"-- everywhere under its domain, you're on casino property. Just one big open-air asylum for libidinally enslaved "egoists pursuing their unmitigated self-interest."

What's more "egoistic" than gambling? I think it's telling that the Roman Centurion draw lots to take Christ's loot off his corpse. Gamers even back then.

"Chance" or "Luck" -- these are egoistic concepts as well. Here is an old Taoist parable:

There was once a farmer in ancient China who owned a horse. “You are so lucky!” his neighbours told him, “to have a horse to pull the cart for you.” “Maybe,” the farmer replied.

One day he didn’t latch the gate properly and the horse ran away. “Oh no! That is terrible news!” his neighbours cried. “Such bad luck!” “Maybe,” the farmer replied.

A few days later the horse returned, bringing with it six wild horses. “How fantastic! You are so lucky,” his neighbours told him. “Maybe,” the farmer replied.

The following week the farmer’s son was breaking-in one of the wild horses when it threw him to the ground, breaking his leg. “Oh no!” the neighbours cried. “Such bad luck, all over again!” “Maybe,” the farmer replied.

The next day soldiers came and took away all the young men to fight in the army. The farmer’s son was left behind. “You are so lucky!” his neighbours cried. “Maybe,” the farmer replied.

I wonder if you can find a western parable that is similar?
