JD Vance said (correctly) that if the young people are blocked from home ownership and the American Dream that they'll vote for a socialist president. Yes. Make capitalism work for everyone and we wouldn't need socialism. But that's impossible, given that capital doesn't serve the people ("social" in socialism) and instead serves capital ("capital" in capital, if you didn't already notice that.)
