Project AERODYNAMIC was a CIA covert operation launched in 1950 to exploit anti-Soviet Ukrainian resistance groups, such as UHVR, ZPUHVR, OJHVR, and UFA, for intelligence collection and psychological/political warfare against the Soviet Union. Based in Munich, Germany, it involved training and dispatching agents into Soviet Ukraine, establishing radio communications, and providing financial support to these groups. The project, renewed annually through at least the 1960s, produced operational intelligence and materials from Ukraine without major compromises.
