In warfare, intelligence, as a function of the state, has to be centralized to be effective. If intelligence is not centralized, it is open; if it is open, it's not useful in warfare.
OSINT, whether reactionary as in Bellingcat or revolutionary as in WeWrite, is just propaganda.
In general, it is true that revolutionaries benefit more from openness than reactionaries, because we benefit from the truth. For example, exposing corruption. The elites deal in secrecy, like Epstein Island. They hide their infiltration of the media.
But in a situation of warfare, we need a centralized state with centralized intelligence - the People's CIA, the NKVD. Communications will have to be encrypted with Bitchat, an offline messaging app, and to prevent backdooring built-in by Google and Apple, the phones must be fully jailbroken to disable the internet, or built from scratch with computer chips.
Many are not ready to give up their NSA-tapped smartphone. Fortunately, the collapse of the American regime will probably be unstoppable under huge popular pressure, plus Russian and Chinese propaganda countering the ineffectual CIA propaganda.
