Thinking about “digital assemblies” like the “digital liturgies” book I’ll soon be reading

On the question of donating and giving to assemblies which are good and put the focus on God

Gathering places

Colossians 4

To know your goals is half the battle

Without a map it is much harder to run the race

The mission of Christ?

Pray Col 4:2-4

Preach Col 4:5-6

Partner Col 4:7-17

Southern baptists love their alliterations 💯

Instantiation of inline links?

The evil judge, the widow? Where is this parable from?

If an unrighteous judge can do what’s right, how much more so shall the good judge of Christ?

Prayer is spiritual warfare (of self defense)

Prayer will tell you how your soul is

Be watchful of sin and temptation

Thanksgiving in prayer, gratitude for God’s mercies

Clarity in evangelism

Evangelism is our own responsibility, conversion is God’s responsibility

Labor to become clear

Prayer is a battle

Social media’s usefulness will be to show how prayerless we were in the final hour

Time, energy, attention, focus — these are the things which are transferred in prayer

All words we speak must be preaching God’s love

Wisdom in actions, Grace in speech

We must adorn the gospel with our good works

Wisdom towards outsiders, kindness in our words and ways of convincing

Biblical wisdom sits between thought and action — Mao’s “On Practice”

Distance yourself from false teachings, but do not avoid the lost altogether, make best use of time with them

Befriend those who are outsiders so that they might become insiders

So easy to get swept into conversations of limited importance

Finding book clubs from outside so that we might bring them inside

Love God and Love Others

Love Thy Neighbor, even Thy Enemy

Our words must be like salt, a preservative — to preserve conversation and goodness and harmony and peace

Always give an answer to the hope that is in you

To answer each person is to understand their full context

Two good questions to ask others

“What did you mean by that”

“How did you come to that conclusion”

Encourage others — give them courage

Courage feels like fear

Is the kingdom of God a More Perfect Union?

Letters to be read aloud to others — WW?
