GitHub is a social place for version controlled text, but that text is usually just code (computer code, programs, etc.)
Our notes should be as alive and version-controlled as codebases are
GitHub for normies
Sure, you could connect your Obsidian markdown notes to GitHub. But that's ugly. And it's a pain in the ass. Even using Obsidian is a pain. God forbid having to learn git and GitHub.
Each page will have Version history
Each page can be collaborated on with millions of other users via the Moderation queue or by trusted collaborators within a Group
