Replying to We The People by establishmentdisliker
"We the People" often masks or outright claims for collectivism, which subordinates individuals to majority rule or revolutionary mobs. True order emerges from voluntary exchanges in free markets, not "unleashing the people" via dual power or democratic mandates.
Oligarchic corruption stems from state interventions such as cronyism, unrestrained fiat money, targeted regulations, and a host of other unfair advantages and usages of power. The solution is not collective seizure of power, but limiting the power of the state: sound money, private property, and unhampered entrepreneurship.
Mises and Hayek warned, collectivist "popular sovereignty" leads to serfdom, not liberty. Individuals, not "the people," must be left alone.
