Beauty is pain

By

Why is this said? Why is this true?

Is beauty the outcome of crystalized pain and suffering? Like a Crucible or a purifying fire?

Are human perceived signals of beauty actually just the pathological manifestations of having overcome great difficulty?

For women, the “masculine” beauty is that of a warrior — a great deal of stressful overcomings

Why is the delicate softness of a woman described as pain? Perhaps the strength it took her to survive such a chaotic and dangerous world?

And such strength is itself a pain and suffering but held together by one’s own constitution (that is, that which is granted to us by God)

Theology of pain

Ten thousand hours to become the professional

A thousand ways not to make a lightbulb as Benjamin Franklin said

fail fast

Move faster

This is all painful

But it’ll be worth it
